Raiders coach Klint Kubiak announced that Kirk Cousins will remain the starting quarterback for the Week 8 game against the New York Jets. Kubiak stated there is "no controversy" regarding the position, despite the team's four-game losing streak.
Kubiak added that Fernando Mendoza's debut will not happen this week, noting that Cousins is "playing at a very high level."
